Alternate Way To Change 'Clear Private Data' Settings - Part 1

As mentioned in the previous step, if the "Ask me before clearing private data" setting is unchecked and therefore turned off, you will not be given an option to modify your Clear Private Data settings simply by choosing Clear Private Data off of the Tools menu or hitting the Ctrl+Shift+Delete shortcut. In this scenario, you must take an alternate route to find these settings.

First, click on Tools in your Firefox menu located at the top of your browser. When the drop-down menu appears, scroll down and click on the Options choice.
