Mozilla's Firefox has long been a fan favorite, with its loyal and often vociferous supporters representing a rather sizable portion of the overall browser market. If you are a newcomer to this open-source application, chances are that your personal data such as bookmarks and browsing history resides in another browser. No need to fret, however, as Firefox provides the ability to transfer this information in just a few easy steps.

Popular browsers including Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Safari are all supported by Firefox's integrated Import Wizard. This step-by-step tutorial describes the process of importing data to Firefox on the Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.

First, open your Firefox browser.

Linux users should skip directly to Step 7 at this point.

Mac users should skip directly to Step 13 at this point.
