Open Your Firefox Browser

One of the most convenient features of Firefox 2 is the ability to use tabs. Gone are the days of opening several browser windows at once to accomplish your tasks. Tabbed browsing allows you to achieve a much sleeker, more efficient browsing experience.

With tabs, you can open several web pages at once in a single browser window. This will not only clear up clutter on your desktop but will allow you to easily switch back and forth between your open pages. Tabbed browsing in Firefox is enabled by default. You can modify the behavior of this feature as well as disable it altogether. This tutorial explains how this is done.

First, open your Firefox browser.
