How to Use Peekko in Firefox for Windows

Introduction to Peekko

Peekko is one of many chat-based extensions available for Firefox. It gives you the ability to chat with other people that happen to be on the same web page you are on. Peekko is IRC(Internet Relay Chat)-based, but it is suggested you only use it in the manner it is intended for use, speaking to people in the irc.peekko.com channel on the current web page you are viewing. This recommendation is made by the developers of Peekko themselves since the software, although widely used, is still considered to be in beta. If you are not familiar with IRC chat or IRC servers, then this should be no problem for you as you will be using Peekko's default settings.

The first thing you may notice once you have installed Peekko is that you have a new toolbar added to your main browser window. This is the Peekko toolbar (see screenshot below) and it allows you to control all of this chat extension's features.
