Save Login Credentials

In addition to storing commonly used personal information for the purpose of populating web forms, The Wand also lets you save login credentials such as usernames and passwords for most sites that require them. When logging into one of these sites, Opera will present you with a dialog box asking Do you want Wand (password manager) to save the password? You are presented with the following three options.

  • Save: Saves the current login credentials.

  • Never: Does not save the current login credentials. By choosing this option, you will never be prompted again to save your credentials on this specific web site.

  • Not now: Does not save the current login credentials. By choosing this option, you will be prompted to save your credentials the next time you attempt to login to this specific web site.

A checkbox (not activated by default) is also shown in this dialog box, labeled Save choice for this page only. When checked, your login credentials will be saved for the specific URL shown but not for the entire web site in question.
