View Source With External Application (Part 5)

A Task dialog box for View page source should now be displayed. Within this box is a section labeled Action, containing the following three choices.

  • Open with Opera: Active by default, this option causes the browser to use its built-in source viewer when viewing page source.

  • Open with default application: When selected, this option causes the browser to open the operating system's default application when viewing page source. This application's path (i.e., C:\WINDOWS\system32\NOTEPAD.EXE) is displayed under the radio button choice itself.

  • Open with other application: When selected, this option allows you to select the application of your choice for viewing source code within Opera. You can also specify launch parameters for said application in the Parameter edit field located at the bottom of the Task dialog.
