This tutorial is designed for an outdated version of Opera. Please visit our updated tutorial if you are running Opera 17.x.

Private Browsing Mode should now be enabled, as illustrated in the example above. Whenever you are browsing anonymously, you will see an indicator next to your tab or window's title that looks similar to a hotel room's "Do Not Disturb" sign. As long as this indicator is visible you can be sure that your browsing session will remain private.
