How to Use Private Browsing in Opera 10.6 for OS X

This tutorial is designed for an outdated version of Opera. Please visit our updated tutorial if you are running Opera 17.x.

Click on File in your Opera menu, located at the top of your screen. When the drop-down menu appears, you will see several options available. To begin browsing anonymously in a new tab, select the option labeled New Private Tab. To begin browsing anonymously in a new window, select the option labeled New Private Window or utilize the following keyboard shortcut: UP ARROW+COMMAND+N
