Adding a New Search Engine (Part 3)

Also found on the Search engine form are three checkboxes, all disabled by default. They are as follows.

  • Use as default search engine: When selected, Opera will always use this choice as the browser's default search engine.

  • Use as Speed Dial search engine: When selected, Opera will use this choice as the default search engine for the browser's Speed Dial feature.

  • Use POST: This should only be activated for search engines that use POST queries as opposed to GET.
