How to Disable Audio In Opera 9 For Macintosh OS X

Enable/Disable Sound

Located at the top of the Content section are five options that are accompanied by checkboxes. To disable audio from playing within a web page, make sure that the option labeled Enable sound in Web pages is disabled (unchecked). When the desired changes have been made, click on the button labeled OK to apply settings and close the Preferences dialog.
