The final section in the Pop-up Blocker Settings window, labeled Filter level:, contains a drop-down menu which allows you to choose from a group of preset pop-up blocker configurations. These choices are as follows:

  • Custom: Selected by default, this option will block pop-up windows from all web sites with the exception of those you have entered into the Allowed Sites list.

  • High: This option will block pop-up windows from all web sites. The following keyboard shortcut combination can be used at any time to override this setting: CTRL+ALT

  • Medium: This option will block all pop-up windows except those located in your Local Intranet or Trusted Sites content zones.

  • Low: This option will block all pop-up windows except those from secure web sites.
