The third section in the Pop-up Blocker Settings window contains two options, both accompanied by checkboxes. The first, labeled Play a sound when a pop-up is blocked, is activated by default and causes Internet Explorer 7 to play an audio chime anytime a pop-up window is blocked by the browser. The second, labeled Show Information Bar when a pop-up is blocked, is also activated by default and causes IE to display an information bar informing you that a pop-up window has been blocked and giving you the option to allow said pop-up to be displayed.

To disable either one of these options, simply click on the checkbox to delete the respective check mark within it.
