The Bottom Line

MySpace Image Rollover is an IE7Pro user script that displays the full size of MySpace thumbnail images anytime you place your mouse cursor over them. This includes user images in your picture albums, friends list, comments, and bulletin space. These images are displayed in the upper left hand corner of your browser window.

This script requires the Internet Explorer 7 web browser and the IE7Pro add-on.

Pros

  • You can easily view full images when browsing comments, friends lists, and more.
  • Images are resized to their original dimensions so distortion is not an issue.

Cons

  • If an original image is too large, it cannot be seen in its entirety at some resolutions.

Description

  • MySpace Image Rollover displays a full sized version of a thumbnail image when the mouse cursor is placed over it.
  • The full sized image is displayed in the top left hand corner of your Firefox window.
  • MySpace thumbnails supported by this script include those in albums, friends, comments, and bulletins.

Guide Review - MySpace Image Rollover

MySpace Image Rollover is very convenient, especially when skimming through comments or friends lists. Some thumbnails are too small to really get the full effect and this script allows you to easily see these images the way they were meant to be seen. It is nice to have the ability to quickly view images in their original format without having to click or open anything. Just by simply scrolling over a thumbnail you get to view the full image in the left hand side of your browser window. I recommend adding this one to your MySpace arsenal.
