This tutorial details how to set the home page in an outdated version of Google Chrome. Please refer to the updated version. (08/23/13)
The Google Chrome Options dialog should now be displayed, overlaying your main browser window. Click on the Basics tab if it is not already selected. In the middle of the dialog is the Home Page section, featuring three choices involving your browser's home page setting.
The first choice, selected by default, is Use the New Tab page. Chrome's New Tab page displays titles and thumbnail images of the websites which you visit the most often as well as links to the three tabs which you have most recently closed.
