How to Toggle Full-Screen Mode in Windows

To activate full-screen mode in Opera for Windows:

  1. Select the Opera menu button, which is located in the upper-left corner of the browser window.

  2. When the drop-down menu appears, hover the mouse cursor over the Page option to open a submenu.

  3. Select Full screen

    Use the F11 keyboard shortcut to enter full-screen mode in Windows. Many Windows apps use F11 as a hotkey to enter full-screen mode.

  4. To disable full-screen mode in Windows and return to the standard Opera window, press the F11 key or the Esc key.

How to Toggle Full-Screen Mode on a Mac

Follow these steps to open Opera in full-screen mode on a Mac:

  1. Select View in the Opera menu located at the top of the screen.

    The keyboard shortcut is Control+Shift+F.

  3. To disable full-screen mode on a Mac and return to the standard browser window, click once on the top of the screen so that the Opera menu becomes visible. Click View in that menu. When the drop-down menu appears, select Exit Full Screen. You can also press the Esc key.
