Validate Installation - Step 1

Now that you have restarted Firefox, your new extension should be installed. Depending on the extension and what its function or functions are, you may or may not see a visual change somewhere in your browser window or browser menus.

To fully validate that the extension was installed successfully and, for some extensions, to make changes to it or use the extension, you need to go to the Extensions/Add-ons menu. First, click on the Tools menu at the top of your Firefox window. When the drop-down menu appears, select Extensions or Add-ons. The name of this option varies depending on your version of Firefox.
