Firefox 3 gives you the ability to perform a number of actions on or with each individual download. The easiest way to access these is to right-click on the download that you are interested in. A context menu will then appear containing several choices. The options available for a particular download depend on its current status (completed, in progress, cancelled, etc.). In the example below, a completed download (ReaConverter.exe) has been selected. The menu shown contains the following options:
- Open: This option will open the file that has successfully downloaded.
- Open Containing Folder: This option will use Windows Explorer to open the folder where the downloaded file resides.
- Go to Download Page: This option will open a new Firefox tab or window to the page where the file was originally downloaded from.
- Copy Download Link: This will copy a link to the clipboard of the page where the file was originally downloaded from.
- Remove From List: This will remove the file's entry from the Downloads window.
- Clear List: This will remove all current entries from the Downloads window.
