Firefox 3 provides a way to manually open the Downloads window at any time. To do this, click on Tools in your Firefox menu located at the top of your browser window. When the drop-down menu appears, scroll down and click on the Downloads choice.
Please note that in lieu of clicking on the menu choice, you can also open the Downloads window using the following keyboard shortcut: Control + J.
