Disable JavaScript in Firefox 3.5

It may be necessary to disable JavaScript for development or security purposes. This tutorial explains how this is done in Firefox 3.5.

Time Required: 1 Minute
Here's How:
  1. Open your Firefox 3.5 browser.
  2. Click on the Tools menu, located at the top of your browser window.
  3. When the drop-down menu appears, click on Options...
  4. The Options dialog should now be displayed, overlaying your browser window. Click on the Content tab.
  5. Locate the Enable JavaScript option. If its checkbox is empty, then JavaScript is currently disabled. If it is checked (default setting), simply click on the check to remove it.
  6. Click on the OK button, located at the bottom of the Options dialog. JavaScript is now disabled in Firefox 3.5.
