You may want to modify how long Firefox saves your browsing history. While a week or so is long enough for some, others find it useful to make their recorded history available for a much longer period of time.
To change this setting, first click on Firefox in your Firefox menu, located at the top of your screen. When the drop-down menu appears, select Preferences.
