Safari 4 is set to be Apple's next major release in its browser series. Keeping in line with the growing popularity of innovations like graphical tabs and visual history, Safari 4 Beta for Mac OS X features an impressive array of visual enhancements as well as under-the-hood improvements that result in faster speeds and a more efficient browsing experience. The new Nitro Engine has the browser executing JavaScript at speeds up to 30 times faster than IE7 and 3 times faster than Firefox 3, according to the iBench and SunSpider benchmark tests.
