Compatibility View Settings

Internet Explorer 8's Compatibility View, described in the previous slide, can be configured on a per site basis. The Compatibility View Settings dialog, shown above, gives you the ability to specify which sites should be rendered like IE7. You can also specify that only Intranet sites be displayed in Compatibility View or all sites that you visit. Microsoft will automatically supply you with updated lists of websites that it believes should be displayed in Compatibility View if you choose to activate that setting.
