Type: boolean
Default Value: false
Description
The accessibility.blockautorefresh Preference in Firefox's about:config interface deals with Web pages that are configured to refresh automatically after a specific time interval. By sending a particular HTTP header to a page or by integrating the refresh HTML element within the page itself, a Web developer can ensure that their page is updated at a frequency of their choice. This can be useful for websites containing oft-changing content such as news stories or weather updates. However, this can also be annoying or even detrimental to a user who desires full control over page refreshes. The accessibility.blockautorefresh Preference offers the ability to dictate when and where Web pages are refreshed.
How to Use accessibility.blockautorefresh
