The 2013 About.com Readers’ Choice Awards will showcase the best products, features and services in dozens of categories. Readers’ Choice includes multiple channels ranging from technology to hobbies to parenting. Nominations were accepted starting on January 14, 2013. Voting will take place from February 19 through March 19 with winners announced March 27. There’s no prize -- just the bragging rights that come with getting recognized by the readers of one of the most popular websites.
The Web Browsers section of the 2013 awards honors the year's best browsers and browser-related software. The nine categories, each which contain five finalists from the nomination period, are as follows: Best Major Desktop Browser, Best Small Market Desktop Browser, Best Android Browser, Best iPhone/iPod touch Browser, Best iPad Browser, Best Overall (Non-Security) Add-On, Best Privacy/Security Add-On, Best Browser Theme, Best User Script.
Voting is now closed. Winners will be announced on March 27, 2013.
