The fourth tab in the Peekko Chat Options is Alerts. This section gives you the opportunity to specify when you would like alert sounds to play based on events in the chat room. The options are as follows.
- Audible Alerts: This option, enabled by default, allows you to toggle all alert sounds on or off.
- Alert on Messages: This option, also enabled by default, will play a sound the first time a message is received.
- Alert on Message to Me: This option, when enabled, will alert when a message is sent to your nickname or when a message has your nickname within it.
- Alert Allowance: This option allows you to specify intervals (in minutes) between audible alerts. If you set this number to zero, alerts will always be allowed regardless of their frequency.
