Peekko Options - Personalize

On the far right hand side of the Peekko toolbar is a button labeled Options. Clicking this button will display the Peekko Chat Options dialog box, which allows you to customize several aspects of this extension. The first tab displayed in this box is Personalize.

Within the Personalize tab you can modify your chat nickname. It is highly recommended that you do this. In the event that you do not choose a nickname, Peekko will randomly generate one for you when you connect to the chat server. While connecting, Peekko will state the following in the main chat window: "Generated this horrible nickname for you: <random nickname>". Although this statement is most likely just a result of the Peekko developers having some fun, I can personally attest that the nicknames are pretty awful.

To the right of the nickname, there are entry fields for three alternate nicknames. These are used, in their respective order of precedence, in the event that someone connected to the Peekko chat server already has your nickname. Just in case, I recommend that you choose three alternates here as well.

You will also notice a Real Name and User Name field in this window. Do not use your real name here. Simply re-enter your main nickname in both of these fields since they cannot be left blank.
