Critical Vulnerabilities Fixed In IE7

Wednesday April 15, 2009

Yesterday was Microsoft's Patch Tuesday, and several serious vulnerabilities within many of the company's products were addressed. Included in the list was the Internet Explorer browser, which received a cumulative security update that corrected six separate flaws involving remote code execution and memory corruption. It should be noted that IE8 was not affected by this update. IE6 and IE7 users are encouraged to update their browser right away, either through Windows Update or the Internet Explorer download site.
