Firefox Updated for Second Time in a Week
An update to Firefox 3 was released on Friday, marking the second time in just three days that Mozilla has patched its popular browser. Only one defect was fixed in Firefox 3.0.3. However, the company felt that the issue was important enough to warrant a new version.
First logged by Mozilla back on September 10, the bug existed in Firefox's Password Manager and resulted in the browser being unable to save and retrieve certain password types. The Firefox 2 series does not contain this defect. Although this is not an urgent security issue, Firefox 3 users are still urged to upgrade their browser as soon as possible.
