Follow Lakers vs. Celtics with your Browser

Friday June 6, 2008

The NBA Finals began last night with a classic matchup between two teams that practically defined basketball for a good portion of the 1980s. Game 1 at the TD Banknorth Garden was full of drama, with Paul Pierce's Willis Reed moment highlighting a 98-88 Celtics victory. League MVP Kobe Bryant dropped 24 but was held to an uncharacteristic 9-of-26 from the field. The Lakers will look to even up the series at a game apiece on Sunday night and your Web browser can help keep you informed on all the action leading up to and during Game 2 as well as for the duration of the series.

Stay on top of key moments in each game as they occur with the community-oriented RUWT? Toolbar, which alerts you when the action reaches a fever pitch and allows you to have a banter with other fans. For fast scores, matchup information, statistics, and news, the SportsFox add-on for Firefox is all you need. Finally, NBA Scoreboard will bring Garnett, Gasol, and the rest of the stars right to your computer. Stay in the game with these great browser additions!
