Firefox 3 Needs Another Release Candidate

This was the decision reached by Mozilla at Tuesday's status meeting. It was determined that there was sufficient need for a second release candidate of the highly anticipated browser in order to address some stability and interface related bugs discovered during RC1 testing as well as during the testing of previous beta versions. Fans of the red fox need not fret, however, as the final ship date for Firefox 3 will only slip by about five days as a result of this new build. RC2 should be available for public testing sometime during the first week of June, with the final version of the browser to follow a couple of weeks later.
