Upgrade to Camino Browser Is Released

Friday December 7, 2007

Camino, a native OS X browser which utilizes Gecko, has been updated for the first time in just over a month. A helping of features have been added, as well as an upgrade to the latest version of its rendering engine. Gecko 1.8.1.11 includes with it a group of critical security and stability fixes.

Among the new additions to Camino 1.5.4 include better compatibility with sites that use DHTML as well as improvements with the browser's ad-blocking. Finally, some visuals that did not draw correctly in the recently released OS X 10.5 (Leopard) have been adjusted accordingly. Camino users are encouraged to download 1.5.4 as soon as possible.
