Browser Virtualization Prevents Uninvited Downloads
ZoneAlarm ForceField, a new product from Check Point Software, runs Internet Explorer or Firefox with a virtualization engine. Launching the browser in this isolated environment protects your PC and the sensitive data stored on it from both
computer and Internet-based threats. ForceField creates a so-called "bubble of security" around your browser, blocking drive-by downloads as well as malicious software that may already reside on your computer. Also included in this revolutionary product is keylogger jamming, anti-spyware scanning, and phishing protection.
ForceField is currently in beta and is available as a free download for those who wish to preview or test the software. A private browsing feature, which erases all surfing footprints from your PC at the end of a browsing session, is planned for a future release.
